Welcome to the Shurer Lab in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Our lab officially launches in Fall 2025 within the Tickle College of Engineering. We are dedicated to advancing the understanding of membrane biophysics, glycocalyx biology, using protein engineering, lipidomics, and quantitative imaging.
